After a fantastic meal at Sun-Ra, we headed to the Gallion Bar for our last night. Most crews were there and there was a lot of goodbyes being made. It's quite surprising just how friendly the disparate crews have become. What I wasn't expecting was to feel quite so sad that we were leaving the other boats. At the start, I wouldn't have said we were "rally people" but this experience has changed that. We sincerely hope we bump into all the boats again during our time in the Caribbean, and we'll stay in close contact with some great friends we've made and that includes the rally organisers who did a great job.
However, it was time to move on. We've not moved far, just around the corner into Falmouth harbour. Boy does that make us feel small - we are surrounded by huge yachts and charter catamarans. We've seen 2 other privilege cats today - a 445 like ours and a 615. Common as muck! :)
So, I'm writing this after sunset, sat on the trampoline in a nice cooling breeze. This is our first Caribbean anchorage of many to come. If they are all like this, it won't disappoint!
