Not the Raz
Not the Raz

The weather was still gorgeous and in particular the wind was NE, so we exited to stop in one of the bays on the western side of the Crozon peninsula. In truth, ewe were waiting to see if the wind would allow us a chance to stop at the Ile de Sein itself, but it wasn't looking like it would be comfortable.

Once out of the marina du Moulin Blanc, we hoisted the parasailor. It was quite tricky in light winds and the strong tides reducing the apparent wind even further, but it was good fun. We managed to hold onto the sail down past the Pointe du Toulinguet. As the wind swung further east, we doused it and motored through Les Tas du Pois around Pointe de Pen-Hir and into Anse de Dinan. It was a lovely spot, if a little windy. Fine for anchoring though. Some superb cave formations in the surrounding rock walls too. A few boats stopped briefly, presumably in their way to Morgat or the Raz. We had the bay to ourselves most of the time though - with the windsurfers preferring the other end. Late in the evening La Recouverance came in and anchored for the night as well. We'd not seen her since she nabbed the last berth from us in L'aberwrac'h one stormy June a few years ago!
