Today we've tried pretty much every sail combination. I put the parasailor back up on my watch in about 9knots of breeze - so not difficult to do it single-handed. That then self-socked due to insufficient wind to hold it open, so we motored for a bit. Then we put the genoa out and drifted along under that. However that's a bit too heavy for very light winds and I don't like it flogging/collapsing, so we resurrected the gennaker - not used for years. That worked well for a while. Finally the wind has gone south now, so we have genoa and mainsail and are ghosting along in five knots.
The calm conditions meant we could also get some laundry done, along with making the water we've used. So far the solar panels are keeping us fully charged so we don't feel the need to motor to charge batteries. We will see how that goes once we cross the equator and start heading south.
Nothing else to report, just another wonderful sunset
