Lovely sunrise this morning over the atoll... We are now back in the busy Rikitea anchorage ready to provision for the next few days before heading north to the Tuamotus (aka the Dangerous Archipelago). Newly arrived here is the Claymore 2, the supply ship for Pitcairn. It comes here from New Zealand and shuttles back and forth a couple of times before returning. We see that Henderson Island is in the news today for the amount of plastic garbage that gets accumulate there. Being uninhabited, no-one is there to clear up unlike Pitcairn itself which was immaculate. A sad indication of the disposable nature of our society :(
