Day 2
Day 2 was pretty uneventful. We flew the parasailor until dusk, then we took it down as the wind had picked up it had all the hallmarks of being a very dark night. We pottered along under genoa alone, which is pretty easy - so we had a fairly simple time keeping watch. Hardly any ships, and just a couple of gybes to keep things moving along nicely.
The morning brought a nicer day and we put the parasailor back up as soon as enough crew had assembled (today's seastate: slight to moderate: bring your best foredeck dance...). We were dragged along pretty quickly for a while though the wind has eased during the day.
We're heading for the 'butter melts' point, a few hundred miles NW of the Cape Verdes - hopefully we'll have seen nice tradewind conditions by then and be ready to turn west for the long haul out to Antigua.
All remains well onboard - but no fish yet.
