We made good progress once we'd gybed and got the parasailor set - and it was stable enough that we flew it all night. We had a few long surfs but mostly it was nicely controlled - just a bit noisy below with the waves crashing past. Think we're all used to it now - and we slam very infrequently.
Morning brought easing winds - so we put the fishing lines out and kept the parasailor up. The grib files aren't encouraging about the wind. Heading south to maintain wind seems like a long way around as it would require us to get down possibly as far as 13N. Seems a long way to go to keep a bit of wind in the sails. Be interesting to see what happens with the fleet.
We finally managed to get a sane noon-sight with the sextant today - and our calculated position was only 10 nautical miles out - very very pleased with that indeed!
As its our wedding anniversary today - Mandy cooked us a nice breakfast bap, and has planned a cream tea (including essential clotted cream) for later! We may well be overprovisioned but this is essential stuff, I'm sure you'd agree!
