This morning, we got on with boat jobs until we saw the boats from the resorts heading around the corner. At which point, we hustled and jumped into the dinghy to go and see if we could find some manta rays (along with a hundred other people from the resorts, and some from The Beast too - such is life!).

It wasn’t long before we were rewarded…

Nina got some nice video of them doing their loop-the-loop thing, but alas I have not yet got video uploads working, so this is a still from the video of one upside down, mid-loop.

This evening we went ashore at the resort for beer and pizza. Very nice it was too.

The bar area is nicely done, and they are very welcoming regardless of if you’re staying at the resort or coming in from a yacht. One of the great aspects of Fiji is that the people are so welcoming all the time. You can see the nice pizza oven going well on the left side of the bar.

Think we’ll move a bit further north again tomorrow as though this anchorage is ok, its not the most comfortable and we’ll get some better protection up at the Blue Lagoon.
