The night watch was simple - the only problem was Barry missed his alarm call to take over from Amanda! No squalls, no lightning - just light winds blowing us along and a cracking night sky again. Its somewhat overpowered by the moon which doesn't set until early morning now. Night watch handovers included a "happy new year" but that was the extent of our celebrations - we will be catching up once we arrive.
Time is being spent reading the Doyle's guides to see where to go over the next few weeks and months. We're slowly getting a rough plan for our time in the Caribbean. We need to be in the BVIs for Easter - but we will probably head south for a while first before meeting Andrew and Jenny. Friends are starting to get in contact to book their slots already!
We've also been listening to lots of superb Radio 4 comedies. Favourites include Hut 33, Mark Steele's in Town and the sublime 'Cabin Pressure'. We hope to catch up with episode 26 of Cabin Pressure once we get to Antigua - as its the last one and was the Christmas special.
First blog post of 2015, not much to report - hope everyone had a great night last night. Happy New Year!
