We headed over to Denarau for fuel and provisioning. Many many boats were there clearing out ready to go, and today they’ve been trickling out heading south. I don’t like the look of this window - there’s periods of strong winds, and then 4 days or more of motoring. Plus 2 fronts to take. So we’ll wait a bit longer.
Instead, with the calm conditions expected here for a few days, we’re back on the reef to swim and enjoy things. We’ll get the hulls scrubbed squeaky clean ready for New Zealand, maybe fit in a dive or two. Got some paperwork to do as well. Currently thinking early next week may be a good window for us - but we’ll see.
In the meantime, we wish our friends on Rhapsody, Scooter and many others - fair winds and safe seas and we’ll catch you up in New Zealand!
