The wind picked up a bit overnight, and we ended up with 2 reefs in the main and genoa - but still making good speed. It meant the day was a little bumpy, but this afternoon the wind has eased a bit and started moving aft. The main is still well reefed, but the genoa is back to full. We may even get the screecher out at somepoint. The forecast is for 12knots or so, ENE (so well aft of the beam) which will be quite comfortable for the next couple of days.

Weather looks like it may be ok to arrive Saturday, but we're just watching it. Any signs the low slows or shifts and we'll slow down. It maybe that we end up with little wind before some NW arrive, but by that time we should be pretty close.

We've moved to New Zealand time, so it gets daylight at a more reasonable 6am, and sunset is after 7pm now. Feels a bit more normal(though we are starting and ending our night watches in light now!).
