When we woke up there was no wind, but we needed to charge the batteries anyway, so we motored the 13 miles around the top of Antigua. As we passed Dickenson Bay we saw a yacht very far aground - not sure of the story there but it looks like it could have been there a while. People were able to walk between the sea and the yacht it was so far up the beach on its side.
As we entered Deep Bay, the crew of Bianca Rosa were snorkelling the wreck of the Andes. We passed them and anchored close to the beach. The views from the old fort Barrington overlooking the bay were superb. The drinks on Bianca Rosa on our return from the climb were most welcome as it was a hot day!
The snorkelling over the wreck was also superb. We even saw a Lionfish.
It looks like we are on for a mini-reunion tomorrow as at least 3 boats from the CCR rally will be in Jolly Harbour. Escape, Bianca Rosa and ourselves!
