And then there was one.....er....

A lot has been going on and we've been tardy in updating the blog!

We returned to Jolly Harbour and met up with Bianca Rosa and Escape again. A good time was had by all at an impromptu "last supper" at the Crows Nest. Bianca Rosa left to continue cruising the next day.

Very reluctantly we said goodbye to our crew. Barry had been with us longest, but Anthony had been with us a fair while too and it had been great to have them onboard. They were flying back to a cold and snowy UK. Rather them than us! I don't think we could have done it without their help and we enjoyed them being onboard. Hopefully we'll see them both again on Duplicat soon!

We had a hire car and used it to get the parcel of spares for the watermaker and got that working at full strength again. We did some touring around the island too, including the donkey sanctuary. Our other jobs have suffered somewhat due to "island time" - in particular the refrigeration guy has failed to call us back as promised, so suggest avoiding Signal Refridgeration. We'll look at what we can do elsewhere. Our wind-generator project was also holed below the waterline by the lack of a stainless welder here. Again, something we can do elsewhere. We have done extensive research in the marina by walking around talking to cruisers and listening to what their opinions and more importantly various specific wind-generators. The D400 is currently favourite.

Sam and Jo left today for their arduous trek from Antigua to New Zealand. That left just us in the marina. For 53 minutes.

Then Bianca Rosa returned :)

They will be here for a few days until they fly home leaving the boat in the marina. We'll push on with the cruising from here probably on Sunday. More of which later....
